Sleeping Forest

At the Close of the day, in the night,
When the starts twinkle bright,
The Birds find their way to their nest,
And some start their work in zest.

The Crackling sound of the forest,
And the rythemic noise of the circkets,
Along with the sound of the wind on the leaves,
Reveals the harmony that nature gives.

The shadow of the trees by the moon,
Darkens the night even soon,
The sound of the stream and the flowing brooks,
Rings lound and clear along the rocks.

The forest may not see the world tommorow,
Or the world may not see the forest tommorow.
Man is killing his own mother,
Man is digging his own grave.

Asleep is the Forest,
Asleep are the trees,
Even the animals, they are asleep.
Let them sleep and live in peace.
