My Friends Poem written for me :)

Well, we are all grown up and getting older
And moving on with our lives,
Taking our separate ways
And trying to make a living with haste
We once used to walk together and eat together
Laugh and joke together
Yes, those times are long gone and blurry
Maybe a bit vague in memory...
But who can forget the day when I sang "when you say nothing at all"
To the tunes of your good old guitar?
I cannot be more thankful to my friend
For being there through thick and thin
For listening to all my fears and tribulations
For finding time even when knee deep in work
They say that time and years will make us drift
But we will show them that there can be no such rift
Because we have come a long way
And we're the best of friends for all they care
And though my circle of friends is mighty small
I know I've got the best of them all!!

This is a Poem written for one of my Friends.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S

No matter where or what we are;
Friends we were and friends are.

God knows how our friendship was born.
It was in his heart we were first made known.

From the Pictures of you in paper I saw,
To the first stammering hai and hello,
From the distant benches we sat,
To the Gossips and 4'oclock chat.

No matter where or what we are.
Friends we were and friends are.

Still have that prayer book you gave me to pray,
Prayers of Love, Hope, Faith and Care.
Still when I hold it, a little prayer for you i say;
Wishing you Life, Joy and Love to share.

True Friends are "Treasures" is what they say,
I am glad I didn't have to search too Hard, here and there.

No matter where or what we are.
Friends we were and friends are.

God i Thank you for Friends like her;
For they let me know how much You Care.
